This weekend has been packed!!!!  Despite the unbelievably bad weather in true ‘keep a stiff upper lip’ British fashion The Penn festival went on and I’m so pleased that it did.  It was definitely an adventure being transported in an army truck across a lake of mud to the backstage area.  Thankfully it stopped raining long enough for us to complete our set so the crowd (who were brilliant) could rest their arms from the strain of holding up umbrellas.  

After the set I decided to brave out the weather to watch the brilliant line-up and I’m so glad that I did!!!  Snap! and Soul 2 Soul were fabulous and so nice.

Aside from my Penn adventure it was my favourite weekend of the whole Summer; the Wimbledon finals!!!!!  Thank God for Sky+.  I got to watch Serena (as always she was magnificent) after drying off and yesterday  I didn’t go anywhere.  What a match…..  I have to admit that I’ve never really been a Murray fan but after yesterday I’ve converted.  He was amazing and so brave, he definitely didn’t lose; Federer won and I’m sure that his day will come.
