This week so far (a little Wednesday round-up) is going brilliantly well. My new video for Hour of sunshine has gone live yesterday and has already been picked up by the NME. It was great to do a video that introduces my band and the new ‘live’ Scarlette Fever sound. We worked with the fabulous Dani Jacobs who also directed ‘Elated’ for us. The inspiration for this video comes from the line ‘Your my daily hour of sunshine’. Rather than shooting a cliché boy meets girl narrative I wanted the theme of the video to be around light and a performance. All in all, the 21 hour day shooting in a cold warehouse 2 weeks ago yesterday was well worth it. I’m really pleased with the result and am really grateful to everyone involved over the last few weeks!
